Design decisions

In designing the Al Khal Residence, we kept in mind the client’s desire for spaces that merge modern elegance with timeless comfort. We crafted interiors that balance soft neutrality with tactile richness, layering natural stone, warm wood finishes, and textured fabrics to achieve depth without overwhelming simplicity. We did this by creating layouts that prioritize openness and light while integrating cozy zones for relaxation and social gatherings. The living and majlis spaces are elevated with carefully selected furniture and custom shelving that highlight both function and artistry. We also paid close attention to scale and proportion, ensuring each piece, from sculptural chandeliers to bespoke coffee tables— enhances the spatial harmony. Throughout the project, we kept the atmosphere welcoming and refined, reflecting a home that is both contemporary in vision and deeply connected to its occupants’ lifestyle.
