Studio Echelle designs commercial interiors from its base in Doha, Qatar. Our portfolio includes cafés, restaurants, retail and wellness spaces, with services shaped around the brief and the agreed project scope.
Spaces with a purpose.
A commercial interior has to support the people who work there and the people who visit. We bring spatial planning, material choices and design details together to develop a coherent experience, from a café’s gathering spaces to a wellness studio’s reception and movement areas.

Brief and concept
We discuss your space, priorities and intended experience, then develop spatial layouts and a design direction for the project.

Design development
Materials, furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), and technical documentation give definition to the concept and its details.

Project coordination
Coordination and site supervision depend on the agreed scope. Published projects distinguish concept-only work from commissions that also include supervision or fit-out with partners.

Residential interior design →Do you design cafés and restaurants?
Yes. The portfolio includes café and restaurant interiors such as Khamira and Garden by Belgravia. Their project pages explain the design approach and the studio’s specific scope.
Do you work on retail and wellness spaces?
Yes. Retail and wellness are represented in the portfolio. BE Studios, for example, is a Pilates studio for which Studio Echelle provided the design concept.
Is site supervision included?
It depends on the commission. Khamira lists design concept and site supervision, while Garden by Belgravia and BE Studios list design concept. The proposal will define the services for your own project.
Can you coordinate fit-out with partners?
Fit-out with partners is part of the studio’s published project experience. Any fit-out or coordination role must be agreed for the individual project, with responsibilities established in the scope.
How do we establish budget, timing and location coverage?
