Design decisions
Joy General in The Pearl is a vibrant concept where playful design meets refined café culture. The interior strikes a balance between nostalgia and modern elegance, drawing inspiration from childhood whimsy while maintaining sophistication. Polka-dotted columns, oversized pastry motifs, and sculptural lighting bring a sense of joy and curiosity to the space, while the warm neutral palette grounds the playful elements with timeless charm. Natural textures, greenery, and fluid forms create a welcoming environment that appeals to both families and individuals, transforming the café into more than a dining space, an immersive experience.
